The Protected Landscape area Cerová vrchovina in cooperation with the Slovak Bat Conservation Society, invites the public to Bat Night on August 7, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the place wich called Záhrada 1. mája (by the lake) in Rimavská Sobota.
You can look forward to lots of interesting information about the life of bats and their coexistence with humans. There will be demonstrations of how these flying mammals are caught in nets, observation of their nocturnal activity using bat detectors, and a creative workshop. An expert specializing in bats will accompany you throughout the program.
