An evening in two parts:
- 19h to 21h30: screening of the film 'Au ryrhme des bats A film by Tanguy Stoecklé; Producers: SFEPM / GCP; LIFE Program 2003 – 2007; Duration: 31 mn " and explanations to learn how to recognize and spot bats, news on research by naturalists, chiropterologists, who will guide your steps in the garden...
- from 9:30 PM: night visit to the Jardin des Plantes in small groups in search of these nocturnal animals, under the guidance of a scientist equipped with a batbox. The walks last 45-50 minutes and are carried out in small groups.
Workshop stations allow to discover the morphology of bats, recognize their guano, listen and analyze sound emissions... and if time allows it to observe the sky with astronomers...
