The International Bat Night in the village of Cherni Osam

The Bat Festival passed with studingand practicing techniques for climbing and descending. The youth learned how to climb to the climbing wall and how to descend on trolley over the Cherni Osam River. They received safety instructions and everything that is needed to know when enter and explore caves and bats. Our friends from the National Mountain Guide School in the village of Cherni Osam (the only place of this kind in the country) provided an opportunity for everyone who wanted to be special equipped for the event. 

The Night continued with a presentation about the bat species that are found around the world and in our country. We discussed topics, related with that how they help us and why they are so important for people` habitats and what makes them amazing creatures - the only mammals that can performing active flights. There was enough time for art workshops and a quiz with surprises.
