The organizers from the Green Balkans are joined by the friends from the Cave Club "Djendema" - Plovdiv, who will demonstrate cave exploring methods.
This year's program starts at 4 pm with a presentation and exhibition about bats, in parallel there will be an art studio for the younger ones.
At 16:30 we will hold a reading of the children's book about the Adventures of the bat Darki, and at 17:30 - a presentation with interesting facts about bats.
Those who are patient and wait for sunset, at 18:15 we will turn on the detector and if the weather is appropriate, we will have the opportunity to listen to the bats living in the city garden.
*Our aim is to show everyone that bats are not dangerous or scary, on the contrary they are different but cute. 33 out of the 35 European bat species live in Bulgaria, all of them are insectivorous. Bats are actually extremely helpful, since their diet is entirely on insects.
