We invite all interested citizens (adults as well as children) to an exciting excursion to trace bats in the city of Frankfurt (Oder). The excursion starts at 17:30 in front of the ruin of the old brewery - the protected area Fledermausquartier Brauerei Frankfurt (Oder) - and lasts about 3 hours. Together with a bat experienced bat expert the participants will visit the cellars of the winter habitat of the bats in the fromer brewery and afterwards walk jointly to the island Ziegenwerder. They will not only learn about the history of the brewery as a nature conservation object, but they will also have the opportunity to hear the bats with the help of detectors.
