International Bat Night in Divnogorye

The first Bat Night in Voronezh region takes place in locally famous natural and historical place - museum-reserve "Divnogorye", the land of chalk outliers and man-designated caves. Here, under the protection of heritage status, could be a safe and rich summer location of different bat species. Together with the members of local community, scientists, volunteers and guests we'll discuss the role of bats in ecosystem, myths and truth connected with them, ways to watch them in the wild and to help them. Also we'll take a short natural dusk excursion trying to meet different bat species with an acoustic equipment.
