The Mala Fatra National Park and Nature Conservancy School in Varin, in cooperation with the Society for the Protection of Bats in Slovakia, the Regional Cultural Center in Žilina, the Žilina Regional Observatory and the Tilia Civic Association for the general public organised on the 8th of September for the seventh time the Night with Bats. It was held at the Observatory of the Zilina, where a lecture on the life of bats, a projection of the film BATS, listening to bats sounds through a bat detector, etc. took place. Additionally, children made a bobbin headband or ravens. The isitors of the event also had the opportunity to listen to the lecture of observatory workers and to observe the night sky.
