A series of evening meetings with bats. Each event will start with a lecture about these extraordinary animals. Then there will be a night walk around the Zoo and the fort located in the middle of it. At the end of summer and in the autumn European bats have a mating season. This is accompanied by many interesting habits, including mating calls and swarming flights. Thanks to the use of research equipment and expert help participants will be able to observe and to hear these behaviours. The inaugural meeting will take place during the International Bat Night (25th of August 2018).
