Salamanca Bat Night 2015

The night of bats is an international event where more than 30 countries are meeting for the Conservation of bats. The objective of this Bat Night is to bring the world of bats to all the people, and provide some environmental education to eliminate any possible negative or superstitious thought to bats. An introductory talk to Biology of bats, problems and bat Conservation, with emphasis on those Spanish species will be provided. Later, a walk around with bat detectors will be made to identify the species around the area and to teach echolocation wonderful ability of these animals. In addition, for children if they are enough, batty costume workshop will be held.
