Cypriot Bat Night focuses on Fruit Bats

This year our event will concentrate on Fruit bats. Cyprus host the only species of Fruit bats (Rousettus aegyptiacous). Because of the declining of their population (almost to extinction) we ask the Minister of Agriculture to be present at our event. We ask also to send an official expert and explain to us the serial situation of the problem above. We hope to have some concrete answers because the situation is very worrying. After presentation we will have a pleasant walk at the surrounding area in order to see and hear the bats.
