Joint Meeting of the Standing Committee and Advisory Committee successfully held in Bonn

The 26th Meeting of the Standing Committee and the 30th Meeting of the Advisory Committee to EUROBATS were held jointly from 5 to 8 May 2026 at the UN Campus in Bonn, Germany.

 

The meeting brought together Party representatives, experts and observers for four days of discussions on key scientific, administrative and strategic matters. A central focus was the preparation of the 10th Session of the Meeting of the Parties, which will take place in Malta in November 2026.

 

Participants reviewed progress on a range of draft resolutions and guidance documents as well as on the development of the EUROBATS Vision and Strategic Plan (please find it here). The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss budgetary matters for the next quadrennium and to consider ongoing work under the Advisory Committee’s Intersessional Working Groups.

 

Discussions were constructive and resulted in substantial progress on a number of important documents, providing a solid basis for the final phase of preparations for MoP10 (please find in-session documents here).
